Directions and a Map

The garden is situated about 40 minutes from Cork close to the village of Castletownroche. This is between two large towns called Fermoy and Mallow.

|
1. From DUBLIN/ DUN LAOGHAIRE (approx 240kms)
|
|
Take the N8 (main road to Cork) south as far as Fermoy (approx 220 kms), At Fermoy as you descend towards the River Blackwater and town centre, turn right by the Church of Ireland (red sandstone) on to the N72 (signposted for Mallow and Killarney). Stay on this road through Ballyhooley (road takes two right-angled bends) to Castletownroche. Turn right in centre of village (opposite Post Office and Batterberry’s Pub) following sign to “Annes Grove Gardens”. After 100ms fork right still following sign for “Annes Grove Gardens”. Drive through entrance gates to gardens (on right-angled bend approx 1.5kms from village) onto the carpark.

2. From ROSSLARE (approx 196 kms)
|
|
Take the N25 (main road to Cork), passing through Waterford and bypassing Dungarven. After Dungarven, branch right for N72 signposted Lismore, Fermoy, Killarney. Follow the road to Fermoy (through Cappoquin & Lismore) . At traffic lights in town centre turn right on to N8 (main road to Dublin), and cross the River Blackwater. At Church of Ireland church fork left (N72, signposted for Mallow and Killarney) and proceed as in 1 above.

3. From CORK/ RINGASKIDDY (approx 50 kms)
|
- Take the N20 (main road to Limerick/Mallow) as far as Mallow. Turn right at the roundabout on the outskirts of Mallow, go through the town centre and turn left at the mini-roundabout at the end of the one-way system. (N72 for Fermoy) Follow this road to Castletownroche and turn left opposite Batterberry’s Pub. Proceed as in 1. above. OR
- Follow signs in the southern suburbs of Cork (Douglas or Kinsale Rd Roundabout) for the Lee Tunnel (N25), and after the tunnel take the N8 (main Dublin road) as far as Fermoy. Turn left at traffic lights in town centre, cross the River Blackwater and turn left at the Church of Ireland church. Proceed as in 1. above.

4. From LIMERICK/ SHANNON/ GALWAY (approx 80 kms from Limerick)
|
|
Take the N20 (main Cork road) from Limerick as far as Mallow. Turn left at the roundabout in Mallow, and proceed as in 2(a) above.

5. From KILLARNEY (approx 80 kms)
|
|
Take the N22 (main Cork road) out of Killarney. Fork left on to the N72, signposted to Mallow. At the Mallow roundabout go straight over, through town centre and proceed as in 3(a) above.
